Our First Sunday

Ok, so this is a really short little blog, but it needs to be documented.
We just got back from our first church service at La Prosperidad! It was packed and really small but full of awesome people. After church, Blanca took us out to eat again because 2 Italian girls are staying at our house for this week. They seem really cool and can speak like 5 different languages! Anyway, we were eating a 5 course meal, so they brought this stuff out and looked kind of like a breakfast meal. So it consisted of potato hashbrowns with fried eggs and some peppers. Well, Kerianne and I were halfway through this dish when we realized that those hashbrowns, had little eyes. Honestly, it tasted really good, but we still don't know what it was. Our first thought was Calamari, but we just know that it was something from the sea. I guess we are going to have to keep an open mind to some of the new food that we are trying.

As the say in Italy, Bon Appetite!

  1. So I'm creepin' (maybe trying to re-live vicariously through you guys, even creepier, I know.) but those things are "chanquetes fritos," probably my favorite food from La Atarazana which means it's probably my favorite food from Spain. They're basically just tiny fish but I would usually just ignore that fact! I'm so glad you guys love Blanca (she's so happy with you guys, too) and keep enjoying Iglesia Prosperidad, seeing Lidia at the restaurant, and chillin' with Vita and everything! Have a great week ladies!
